Designed with versaility, flirty comfort and a luxury feel in mind, our classic Laila set was our first ever design. The idea for a waistcoat and skirt set was conjured up in Fes in May 2022 after spending weeks bathing in textiles and music by 70s rockstars, it felt like the perfect silhouette to pay homage to Fes. Made from hand woven and naturally dyed silk carpets by Laila Nadir's female weaving cooperative in Boujaad, Morocco, it's the kind of outfit you could have worn at Woodstock, or out to dinner.

Every 'carpet' product is made from unique hand woven rugs by Laila's cooperative in Morocco, so please note that no two pieces will be identical, as our artisans design every carpet individually. The garment shown in the photo is one sample of what yours will look like <3

Technical Description

Waistcoat with ties in the front
Waistcoat is standard sizing, but it is advisable to size up if you are unsure as the fabric is completely non-stretch.
Can be worn with or without a bra, and is great for layering with a cute white baby tee shirt under.
The skirt is adjustable as it is wraparound so you can tie the ties however loosely or tight you would like

Our Model: Fé Oj, 177 cm wears an M/L - UK 12 / EU 40. Refer to our sizing chart for more detailed fit notes. We use flash photography, for best colour accuracy of the garment, please refer to the fabric swatch image.

Since all our pieces are made to order, we currently do not accept returns unless something is severely wrong. But we try our absolute hardest to get it right and make you happy the first time.
