The Laila set was designed to be a versatile, unique, showstopping outfit that can be easily dressed up or down. The textiles are woven sabra silk and cotton, made by Laila's female weaving cooperative in Boujaad, Beni Mellal. The yarn we use are now permanently dyed, so they can be (hand) washed, or dry cleaned with water and soap. No two pieces are identical, as they are all woven individually on a traditional wooden loom. The skirts are wraparound, so you can adjust them to fit more tight or loose. We also made sure the skirts have pockets.

This is an outfit that holds you as much as it sets you free - to be worn by generations, made by generations of women ranging from the grandmother to granddaughter: Laila, Aziza, Saida, Kabira, Fatima, and Latifah.

Technical Description

Waistcoat with ties in the front
Waistcoat is standard sizing, but it is advisable to size up if you are unsure as the fabric is completely non-stretch.
Can be worn with or without a bra, and is great for layering with a cute white baby tee shirt under.
The skirt is adjustable as it is wraparound so you can tie the ties however loosely or tight you would like.

Since all of our pieces are made in limited drops, we do not accept returns unless something is severely wrong. However, you may be able to exchange the outfit for something of the same value/ higher value and pay the difference. We try our absolute hardest to get it right and make you happy the first time.
